Jakarta Provincial Government in coordination with Bank Indonesia Representative Office of Jakarta was holding a Ramadan bazaar to face.

Chief Representative of Bank Indonesia Jakarta, Doni P. Joewono said the bazaar was started on the H-7 and H-fasting 7 Ahead of Eid.

"A series of activities bazaar held at several points around housing residents have also been prepared, with commodity prices that have been subsidized, especially for beef and chicken meat," said Doni, Thursday (06/02/2016).

Doni added, inflation is expected to remain under control in June 2016. It was attention to government policy related to commodity prices as well as the pattern of development of energy prices and the monitoring of some commodities in the markets in Jakarta.

Step Jakarta Provincial Government in controlling food prices through market operations, low-cost market as well as the message control food prices until the end of the Eid al-Fitr may affect the price movement in Jakarta.

In addition, the import policy which has been opened, especially meat commodities will contribute to curb inflation. On the communications side, the use of virtual meeting TPID in Jakarta Food Info application will support the coordination of services for the community food supply.

In terms of administered prices, commodities and freight air transport out of the city should be wary of gains ahead of a long holiday before Eid utilized by people for going home and on vacation.

"Strengthening of the coordination between Bank Indonesia and the Government of DKI through TPID is necessary to ensure that it remains controlled inflation in 2016," added Doni.

Cooperation in the fulfillment of food stocks DKI with other regions should continue to be pursued to meet the needs of the community, especially ahead of Idul Fitri, which is often followed by a rise in food prices.

Various programs TPID must be harmonized with the various central and local government policies through their respective work programs.
